These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.chefjessicayarr.com (the "Site") and any services provided by Lustré Private Dining ("Lustré"), owned and operated by Chef Jessica Yarr ("Chef Jessica Yarr," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully
1. Services
Lustré provides bespoke private dining experiences, including but not limited to intimate dinners, multi-course tasting menus, culinary retreats, and event dining services (collectively, the "Services"). All Services are subject to availability and are provided at the sole discretion of Chef Jessica Yarr.
2. Inquiries & Bookings
2.1 Consultation All bookings begin with an initial consultation. Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not constitute a confirmed booking or guarantee of availability.
2.2 Confirmation A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a signed service agreement and deposit payment as outlined in Section 4.
2.3 Right to Decline Chef Jessica Yarr reserves the right to decline any booking request at her discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
3. Pricing
3.1 Custom Quotes All pricing is bespoke and provided on a per-event basis following your consultation. Pricing is subject to change until a service agreement is signed.
3.2 Additional Costs Quoted pricing may exclude travel fees, specialty ingredient sourcing, equipment rentals, staffing beyond the standard team, or other event-specific costs. Any additional costs will be outlined in your service agreement prior to confirmation.
3.3 Taxes & Gratuity Applicable sales taxes, service charges, or gratuity will be disclosed in your service agreement. Gratuity, while not required, is warmly appreciated by our team.
4. Payment & Deposits
4.1 Deposit A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted fee is required to secure your event date. Your date is not held until the deposit is received.
4.2 Final Payment The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your event date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods Accepted forms of payment will be outlined in your service agreement. All payments must be made in US dollars.
4.4 Late Payments Failure to submit final payment by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of your booking. Lustré is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of late payment.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
5.1 Cancellation by Client All deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation:
Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to the event date will forfeit the deposit only.
Cancellations made 15–29 days prior to the event date will be charged 75% of the total quoted fee.
Cancellations made fewer than 14 days prior to the event date will be charged 100% of the total quoted fee.
5.2 Rescheduling Rescheduling requests must be made in writing at least 21 days prior to the event date and are subject to availability. One complimentary reschedule may be offered at Chef Jessica Yarr's discretion. Deposits are transferable to rescheduled events only if rescheduled within 90 days of the original event date.
5.3 Cancellation by Lustré In the unlikely event that Lustré must cancel your booking due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. Lustré's liability is limited to the refund of monies paid and does not extend to any additional costs incurred by the client.
6. Dietary & Allergen Responsibilities
6.1 Client Disclosure It is the client's responsibility to disclose all dietary restrictions, allergies, and food intolerances for all guests prior to the event. This information must be provided no later than 14 days before the event date.
6.2 Limitation of Liability While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs and prevent cross-contamination, Lustré operates in private kitchen environments that may not be entirely allergen-free. Chef Jessica Yarr and Lustré are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed or unknown allergies.
6.3 Menu Modifications Lustré will make reasonable accommodations for dietary restrictions. However, significant dietary requirements disclosed after menus have been finalized may not be fully accommodated.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking and consultation
Ensure the event space is accessible, safe, and suitable for food preparation and service
Disclose any relevant restrictions regarding the use of the space (building rules, HOA regulations, etc.)
Ensure guests are informed of any ground rules relevant to the event
Treat Lustré staff with courtesy and respect
Lustré reserves the right to terminate services at any event where staff are subjected to unsafe or disrespectful conditions, without refund.
8. Use of Event Space
Chef Jessica Yarr and her team will take reasonable care of your property during the event. However, Lustré is not responsible for any pre-existing damage or damage caused by third-party vendors or guests. Any damage caused directly by Lustré staff will be addressed in good faith.
9. Photography & Content
9.1 Lustré Content Rights Chef Jessica Yarr may photograph food, tablescapes, and atmospheric details of events for use on the Site, social media, and marketing materials. Images will never include identifiable guests or private property without explicit written consent.
9.2 Client Content Clients are welcome to photograph and share their experience on personal social media. We kindly ask that you tag @chefjessicayarr where applicable.
9.3 Opt-Out If you prefer that no photography be taken during your event, please notify us in writing at the time of booking.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on www.chefjessicayarr.com—including text, photography, menus, recipes, and branding—is the intellectual property of Chef Jessica Yarr and Lustré. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chef Jessica Yarr and Lustré shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific event in question.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chef Jessica Yarr, Lustré, and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or Services, your breach of these Terms, or the actions of your guests.
13. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information collected through the Site or during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of providing our Services and communicating with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. For more detail, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
15. Changes to These Terms
Chef Jessica Yarr reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
